Platform Guidelines

1. Introduction

Pageraise is committed to maintaining a safe, lawful, and compliant fundraising environment for creators, organizations, and contributors. These Platform Guidelines define the rules governing content, behavior, and financial activity on the platform. By using Pageraise, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, and all applicable laws and regulations. Violation of these Guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, termination, and where required, reporting to relevant authorities or payment processors.


2. General Conduct

Users must act honestly, lawfully, and respectfully at all times. All information provided on Pageraise must be accurate and not misleading. Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in fraud, deception, harassment, or any activity that undermines platform integrity or harms other users.

Users are responsible for ensuring that all content, fundraising activity, and communications comply with applicable laws and these Guidelines.


3. Fundraising and Content Integrity

All fundraising pages must clearly and accurately describe the purpose of the campaign and how funds will be used. Users must not misrepresent their identity, affiliations, or intended use of funds. Any attempt to mislead contributors or misappropriate funds is strictly prohibited.

Pageraise reserves the right to review, restrict, or remove any page at any time to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, or payment processing requirements.


4. Prohibited Content and Activities

Pageraise prohibits any content or activity that violates applicable laws, payment network rules, or these Guidelines. The following categories are strictly prohibited:


4.1 Adult Content and Services

Users may not use Pageraise to create, fund, promote, or distribute adult content that includes nudity, explicit sexual acts, or sexually explicit services. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Pornographic images, videos, or written content
  • Subscriber-only adult content featuring nudity or sexual acts
  • Adult live streaming services, including video or audio sexual services
  • Paid sexual chat services or erotic interaction services
  • Any content primarily intended to provide sexual gratification

Content that contains sexual themes but does not include explicit sexual acts may still be subject to review and restriction at Pageraise’s discretion to ensure compliance with payment processor requirements.


4.2 Intellectual Property and Proprietary Rights Infringement

Users may not upload, share, fund, or distribute content that violates the intellectual property rights or proprietary rights of others. This includes:

  • Unauthorized use of copyrighted text, images, video, audio, or software
  • Use of trademarks or branding without permission
  • Misappropriation of confidential or proprietary materials
  • Any content that violates licensing agreements or usage rights

Users must only upload or share content they own or are legally authorized to use.


4.3 Copyright Infringement and Piracy

Pageraise strictly prohibits any content that infringes on copyright protections, including but not limited to:

  • Leaked or pirated music, movies, software, or books
  • Unauthorized distribution of paid or premium digital content
  • Hosting or funding access to stolen or illegally obtained media
  • Linking to or facilitating access to infringing content hosted externally

Repeated or severe violations may result in immediate termination and reporting to rights holders or legal authorities.


4.4 Violent Extremism and Hate Content

Pageraise prohibits any content that promotes, supports, or glorifies violent extremism or hate-based ideologies. This includes any content that:

  • Encourages, incites, or glorifies unlawful violence against individuals or groups
  • Promotes terrorism, extremist organizations, or violent ideological movements
  • Contains hate speech targeting individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Supports or celebrates acts of mass violence or harm

Pageraise enforces a zero tolerance policy for violent extremist content. Any identified violations will result in immediate removal and may be reported to appropriate authorities.


5. Payments, Compliance, and Enforcement

All payments on Pageraise are processed through third party providers, including Stripe. Users must comply with Stripe’s terms of service and all applicable financial regulations. Pageraise reserves the right to suspend or delay payments where content or transactions violate these Guidelines or present regulatory or fraud risk.

Pageraise may conduct ongoing monitoring of content and transactions to ensure compliance with payment processor rules, legal requirements, and internal risk standards.


6. Content Monitoring and Enforcement

Pageraise uses a combination of automated systems, user reporting tools, and manual review to detect and enforce compliance with these Guidelines. Content that violates these rules may be removed, demonetized, or restricted without prior notice.

Enforcement actions may include:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension of accounts
  • Permanent account termination
  • Restriction of payment capabilities
  • Reporting to payment processors or authorities where required

7. Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations through Pageraise’s reporting tools or support channels. Reports are reviewed by the compliance team, and appropriate action is taken based on severity and policy impact.

Pageraise may take additional action if repeated violations or patterns of abuse are identified.


8. Repeat Violations Policy

Pageraise enforces a strict repeat violator policy. Users who repeatedly violate these Guidelines may face escalating enforcement actions, including permanent removal from the platform. Pageraise reserves the right to determine severity and apply appropriate enforcement measures at its sole discretion.


9. Amendments

Pageraise may update these Guidelines at any time to reflect legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines. Users are encouraged to review this document regularly.
